Usage note In the 19th century, kudos entered English as a singular noun, a transliteration of a Greek singular noun kŷdos meaning “praise or renown.” It was at first used largely in academic circles, but it gained wider currency in the 1920s in journalistic use, particularly in headlines: Playwright receives kudos. Kudos given to track record breakers. Kudos is often used, as in these examples, in contexts that do not clearly indicate whether it is singular or plural; and because it ends in -s, the marker of regular plurals in English, kudos has come to be widely regarded and used as a plural noun meaning “accolades” rather than as a singular mass noun meaning “honor or glory.”

Hi Chris, (December 2009) I just wanted to let everyone at Amjo know, that I am absolutely 100% satisfied with the purchase I made a couple years ago. I purchased the large TTS Pet Pad for my then 14 year old Sheltie mix Schnook who has arthritis, and he has been sleeping on it every night. He is now 16 and still doing great, can't see or hear well, but still trying to chase the kitties. Whenever he is not on it, Snowball my Spitz mix is laying on it. One of them is always on it, and the pad has been on low ever since I got it. Never shut it off. The only thing I had to do is lay a thin blanket on top, because he would take some snacks on the pad and then just lick it, and pick on it forever, trying to get the last little crumb of treat off it, and that started damaging the top a bit. ( still has a healthy appetite. ) I am from Germany, and always have been a firm believer of infrared heat, and it just proved to me again, that infrared heat is the best. Money well spent. Great company, fast shipping. Thanks, |

Hi Chris (March 2009) [My Platinum] arrived safely today . I've been treating my hamstring while sitting at my computer and - well - I don't know what to say really... after a couple of hours (off and on) I seem to have regained almost all the mobility I had lost. It is still pulling where there is scar tissue, but it is hugely improved - almost instantaneously. Many thanks, S.M. -Remember These results may not be typical. |

After
ORIF (Open Reduction, Internal Fixation)
surgery and 4 months of immobility/non-weight-bearing status
while recovering from a broken heel, I finally got the go
ahead to learn to walk again, even though there was a
lingering, superficial skin infection on the back of the
heel. When trying to learn to walk, the pain in the foot was
almost unbearable -- the invasive surgery and 4 months of
doing no work with the foot had caused all its elements to
weaken and shorten. When asked to do work, they screamed!
Because of concern about the infection, I searched the internet and found out about infra red heat therapy and then the Thermotex units. I purchased your wrist model, which also fits the bottom of the foot conveniently. (Webmaster Note: if you have a relatively small foot) Using the unit healed the longstanding, superficial infection in about a week. In addition, its penetrating warmth increased circulation in the entire foot to the point where each day, the discomfort level decreased noticeably. Because of your device, I was able to walk again -- without crutches, cane or limp -- within a week. Considerable discomfort remained, but each day, it lessened. In two months time, the injured heel/foot returned to pre- injury status, and I give the most credit for this good fortune to the excellent surgery and the Thermotex heating unit. I've yet to understand why the US medical community doesn't highly and frequently recommend this type of heat therapy. In my view, keeping a unit in the family 'medicine cabinet,' as we typically do aspirin, peroxide, etc., would enhance home care enormously. Thank you, Thermotex -- it's such a pleasure to walk again and to return to normal life ..." -Remember These results may not be typical. O.R.I.F. is an abbreviation for Open Reduction Internal Fixation. Open reduction internal fixation is a method of surgically repairing a fractured bone. Generally, this involves either the use of plates and screws or an intramedullary (IM) rod to stabilize the bone. |

"I
have a customer who was suffering from arthritic pain. She
came to see me for relief and I told her about the
Thermotex™ infrared therapy system. She was a little
reluctant when she heard about the cost, but I assured her
that she could purchase it and use it for 30 days, if she
wasn't completely happy with the results she could return it
and get her money back. She purchased the pad on a Thursday,
rushed back in on Tuesday to tell me how happy she was, not
only with the results of pain relief, but the fact that she
reduced her medicine intake, thereby reducing the side
effects involved with medication and also reducing her cost.
She was a very happy customer!"

"Believe
me, I've taken a lot of hits in my time, and had more than
my share of injuries to show for it. Unfortunately for many
athletes, this can mean that the rest of their life is spent
in pain and debilitation. Since I've been using my
Thermotex™, I can ski and golf without pain without being
dependent on constant therapy or medication of any kind. You
owe it to yourself and those close to you to try this
amazing product!"

Since I started using the THERMOTEX pad every night, I am without
pain, and back in the gym and walking 3 to 5 miles a day. It's an
amazing pain reliever.
